As the co-founder and vice president of Nations Foundation, Lantz gets to intertwine her work and personal interests. She loves to write, travel, eat meals with people in different cultural contexts, ask questions and hear stories.

How does your time at SPU connect to the work you’re doing today?

My time at SPU gave me a heart for reconciliation and a deeper theological understanding, both of which are necessary in order to advocate for Gospel-centered reformers.

Who made a difference in your SPU education?

I would never have ended up on a communication path if it weren’t for Dr. Shannon Scott. Not only was he one of the first to call out some of my gifts, but he also answered many of my questions as I worked through a lot of initial discomfort.

What advice do you have for students about life after graduation?

Don’t be scared to forge a new path if you don’t like where the current one is going. It’s OK to not have it figured out. It’s OK to change your mind. Embrace the uncertainty and the beautiful unraveling of everything you thought you knew.
