COVID-19 Admissions Changes

We know that the COVID-19 outbreak has caused disruptions in visiting colleges, completing applications on time, taking standardized tests, and more. Rest assured, Seattle Pacific University is here for you. Below are some of the changes we’ve made to our regular application process to help.

Changes to Autumn 2022 application requirements

SAT/ACT scores

Applicants for Autumn 2022 are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores and will still receive consideration for merit scholarships.

Pass/fail grades

Applicants submitting high school transcripts with pass/fail grades will still be reviewed for admission. The pass/fail grades will not be included in the overall GPA calculation.

English proficiency scores

Seattle Pacific requires a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 79.The TOEFL iBT is currently available in an “at-home” version to students in the United States, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hong Kong, and Macau. Students residing in a country other than one of these nine countries may take the Duolingo English test. A minimum Duolingo score for admission is 105.
