Seattle Pacific also received high rankings in “Best Value Schools,” which incorporates the overall ranking but credits schools for the amount of financial support made available to students with need. Currently, 96% of SPU students receive some sort of financial aid. In 2020, SPU lowered the undergraduate tuition rate by 25% and added new scholarships to help close the college accessibility gap.

- Top Performers in Social Mobility, which U.S. News describes as institutions that enroll and graduate large proportions of disadvantaged students awarded with Pell Grants. (Pell Grants are a need-based federal financial aid program aimed at helping low income families afford to pay for college).
Highly ranked SPU graduate programs include the clinical psychology doctorate program and the graduate psychology program.
SPU’s eligibility in the national university category is due to the growth in the institution’s graduate and doctoral programs. Some new programs include a master of science in research psychology and a master of arts in Christian ministry. Additionally, an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a certificate in worship studies are now being offered.

At Seattle Pacific, 95 percent of undergraduate students receive scholarships and/or financial aid. In 2017–18, Seattle Pacific will distribute more than $100 million in financial aid.
