Meet Kari

Admissions job: I plan parties with a primary focus on students who identify within the BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and first-generation communities! I have the honor of connecting with community members, event partners, college bound programs, and student ambassadors to plan group visits and events that are welcoming and enjoyable!

Hometown: Manila, Philippines; O’ahu, Hawaii; and Tacoma, Washington

Major: Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy with minors in Music and Global Development Studies

A trip I’d like to take: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Family: My two nurturing parents, two loving older sisters, and several chosen family members from all the places I’ve lived.
