THEO 3260: Faithful Living Amidst Empire (2025-2026)

Most of the Bible takes place when different, oppressive empires are ruling, including Egypt, Assyria, Babylonia, Selucid, and Rome. This course will examine how biblical characters throughout the Old and New Testaments responded to those empires with faith and action, giving us examples and models for how we can live faithfully today May be repeated for credit 3 times.
