Characterization of linear systems by impulse response, convolution and transfer function. Study of linear differential equations and linear difference equations as models. Study of continuous and discrete signals including filters and their effects. Uses transform methods including Fourier series and transforms, FFT, Laplace transforms and Z transforms.
