NUR 4950: Death and Dying (2019-2020)

Focuses on emerging and specialized topics in nursing. This course examines perspectives on death, dying, grief and bereavement, as well as on the needs of and care for those experiencing these inevitable times of life. Issues such as cultural context, impact of the type of death, lifespan implications and the grief process, and models of care, along with religious, spiritual, and ethical aspects will be explored.
