View all UCOL classes

This course, a weekly discussion-based seminar, introduces first-year college students to learning in an academic community. In this colloquium, students will learn that an Engineering career can be an expression of our God-given creativity which we can use to bless our communities and our world. Anchored in that understanding, we'll explore engineering in history, some of today's great opportunities in engineering, ethical and environmental considerations in engineering, as well as balancing academics with the whole university experience as engineering students. Students will also engage in planning coursework, choosing majors and minors, laying out their academic path, working with faculty, and connecting with campus resources. Instructor's Discipline: Electrical Engineering.
