This course offers students foundational insights into the science of the brain and nervous system, helping them understand how experiences, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors shape their perceptions and interactions. Through guided exercises, interactive discussions, and practical tools, students will cultivate compassion, self-knowledge, and resilience—skills that can reduce anxiety, improve decision-making, and enhance collaboration. By applying neuroscience-informed strategies, students will learn to effectively lead with clarity and empathy. May be repeated for credit up to 9 credits.
