UCOL 1000: The Aesthetic Mixtape (2019-2020)

This course, a weekly discussion-based seminar, introduces first-year college students to learning in an academic community. This section will explore the intersection between personal aesthetics and popular forms of artistic culture with an emphasis on film, music and theatre. Students will investigate how personal sensibilities impact cultural consumption and affect interpersonal communication. Students will also learn strategies for planning coursework, learning about majors and minors, and working with faculty advisors. Instructor's Discipline: Theater.
