HHP 3590: Sport Injury Management (2018-2019)

Prerequisite: HHP 2128 or BIO 2129. Describes the prevention, recognition and treatment of injuries related to sport activity. Emphasis on recognition and decision making for the immediate care of serious and life-threatening injuries and the immediate and secondary care of common sports related injuries. Describes the development and implementation of comprehensive sport injury management systems.
