Seattle Pacific’s 2019 Alumna of the Year and a member of the Alumni Strategic Initiative, Jenette Ramos MBA ’94 is a former senior vice president for The Boeing Company, where she worked for over three decades. Ramos earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and began summer work at Boeing during her undergraduate years, becoming one of the company’s first environmental engineers. After graduate work at SPU, she attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
As she moved up the corporate ladder, Ramos never forgot her roots, both as the daughter of parents committed to service and as an MBA graduate trained in “another way of doing business.” In retirement, she remains an active community member, philanthropist, and mentor to young multiethnic professionals. Ramos served three terms on the board of trustees for the Nature Conservancy in Washington and volunteers with the Executive Development Institute, the National Organization on Disability, and the American Heart Association. Ramos was named Asian American Executive of the Year by the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers in 2017 and one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Women of Influence in 2018. She began serving on WSU’s Board of Regents in 2020.
