Faculty Advancement Due Dates 2021-22

https://scholars.spu.edu/etm/PLEASE NOTE:

Upon recommendation from the faculty task force and in light of the disruptions caused by COVID-19 and Gov. Jay Inslee’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, faculty may opt-out of all formal evaluations for the 2020-21 academic year. The default assumption is that reviews will continue in 2020-21 unless otherwise communicated.

Faculty Status Committee will continue to review those who are eligible for pre-tenure, tenure, and/or promotion review. In consultation with their dean, faculty should notify the Office of the Provost if they elect to opt-out/delay their previously established review timeline.”

All advancement files must be submitted electronically as an indexed PDF document.

Non-Tenure Track Review Process

Faculty in non-tenure track positions shall be evaluated in the third year of their full-time employment. Performance reviews should recur at least every five years thereafter (see Faculty HandbookSection 5.5.4). All reporting for these reviews must be completed by the end of Spring Quarter (June 20, 2022).
