How does your time at SPU connect to the work you’re doing today?

SPU helped shape and inform my worldview. I learned to see the world as one with people rather than nations with borders.

Who made a difference in your SPU education?

Dr. Jim Rand made a profound impact on my thinking in life. I had a couple classes with him but specifically he taught from the 7 Habits book about finding the root causes beyond symptoms to create real change.

What advice do you have for students about life after graduation?

Use your time at SPU to experience the world and explore. Open your mind to those not like you. Find your roots, though.
