Winter Health Tips for Your Student

Here are tips to help keep your student healthy this winter season:

  • Eat a well-balanced diet. Many students wake up late, rush from one class to the next, skipping breakfast or lunch. Quick foods to eat while on the run are often full of carbohydrates and lack protein. Teach your student the importance of eating regular meals with protein, fresh fruits, and veggies.

Homecoming 2013   Homecoming 2013

Homecoming is almost here! Check the Homecoming 2013 schedule for a complete list of activities. Suggested events for parents include the Student Talent Show (January 25, 7:30 p.m.), the Homecoming Luncheon (January 26, 11:30 a.m.), the Falcon men’s basketball game (January 26, 4 p.m.), and the Theatre Department’s Bach at Leipzig (January 24-26, 7:30 p.m., January 26, 2 p.m.). Do you have a graduating student? Commencement is Sunday, June 9, 2013, 2 p.m., at Seattle's Key Arena. Tickets will be available beginning Monday, April 9. Be sure to check the Commencement 2013 website for more details that you'll need for this celebration of scholarship, service, and Christian growth.
