	            Course Description:

This course is designed to assist both teachers and learners in understanding
some of the moral implications involved in teaching and learning. Questions
about the moral context of learning and teaching are explored. In addition,
an overview of specific ethical structures of cultural relativism, egoism,
and utilitarianism are provided. Finally, the course focuses on character
education. Providing education to enhance the specific virtues of respect
and responsibility are also discussed as an example of character education.
	            Procedure:

The course consists of five lessons. Each lesson has questions to aid reflection
and discussion. To get the most out of this course, it will be essential
to discuss the questions and topics of the course with other interested people.
These discussions will help you in the following ways: 1) as you frame your
thoughts for discussion, you will find them solidified in your own mind as
well; 2) you may be able to gain new insights from listening to others as
    they frame their thoughts.
