Welcome to this website. Our purpose is to offer you several courses on moral and civic education. You have already indicated your interest in this topic by coming to the site. It is our hope that you will find the lessons and activities useful and practical. The courses on moral and civic education focus on different areas of concern, from literature, to teaching and learning, to the world of business. Although the topics differ, the theme remains the same.

What are your interests?

You may be interested in education, business, law, or some other field of work and service. In any event, we think you will find these four short courses to be helpful. There are many sites, both online and at universities and institutes, that offer courses in teaching, business, and other fields. However, our site is different in that we stress moral behavior and ethical relationships in whatever work you do.

Our Hope

It is our hope that those of you who complete the courses found here will become more informed about moral behavior in the workplace. However, knowledge is not enough. We also hope that your behavior will become more moral, more ethical, and more relational. You will find that the lessons stress such ideas as cooperation, team building, honesty and integrity, and other moral/ethical concepts. It is up to you to act on these ideas in order to make your world a better place for all.

The format

Each course contains five lessons, suggested activities and discussion topics, and a test. By reading the lessons, discussing the ideas found in them with others, and by taking the test, you should have a good idea of the extent to which you are learning.

Are you interested in certification?

When you have completed the courses, you are ready to take an examination which, if you pass it successfully, will enable you to receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Washington Institute for Social Sciences.

When you are ready to take the examination, you should send an email message to info@isngrig.ru. Your message should inform us that you desire to take the examination. You will be sent instructions for how to pay the examination fee of $35 as well as instructions for taking the examination. If your score on the examination is satisfactory, you will be given a Certificate of Achievement.
