A Fairy Tale for All Ages
What makes The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe — and all the Narnia tales — so appealing to young and old alike? Earl Palmer, C.S. Lewis devotee and pastor of Seattle’s University Presbyterian Church, begins with a simple answer: They are “darn good stories.”

The Big-Screen Wardrobe
In an interview with Walden Media’s Micheal Flaherty, Response gets an insider’s view of the challenges involved in filming The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The greatest of these, filmmakers say, was preserving C.S. Lewis’ storytelling.

Dear Mr. Lewis
After penning The Chronicles of Narnia, C.S. Lewis personally replied to approximately 12,000 letters, many of them from children. “We must meet children as equals in that area of our nature where we are their equals,” he once wrote.
"What If I Love Aslan More Than Jesus?"

Jack's Life at The Kilns and in Oxford
For most of his adult life, C.S. Lewis lived at The Kilns, a country home located just east of the city of Oxford in England. Response takes readers on a photo tour of The Kilns today and some of the author’s favorite sites in Oxford.
New Life for The Kilns

The Faith of the Next Generation
During a visit to SPU this fall, sociologist and author Christian Smith delivered a disturbing message: Even those teens who call themselves Christians believe in and practice a religion that bears little resemblance to Christianity.
