Summer 2004 | Volume 26, Number 7 | Alumni

It’s Nomination Time: Who Do You Think Should Win an Alumni Award?

THE SEARCH IS ON for Seattle Pacific University alumni who deserve special recognition — in particular, alumni who are living out the SPU vision of engaging the culture and changing the world with the Christian gospel. “Alumni live out the vision in all different personal and professional spheres,” says Alumni Director Doug Taylor. “One of our priorities is to honor them for their achievements.”

SPU gives one Alumnus/a of the Year Award at Homecoming, and several Medallion Awards at various times throughout the year. All of the recipients are mature Christians, standouts in their chosen professions, contributors to the welfare of the community, and loyal supporters of SPU and its ideals.

Does this sound like someone you know? If so, here’s how to make a nomination: Send email to alumni@spu.edu or visit www.spu.edu/alumni and click on “Alumni Nominations.” Include a brief summary of your nominee’s work and service, contact information and the names of others who can speak to his or her qualifications.
