Summer 2004 | Volume 26, Number 7 | Campus

You’re Invited to the Dedication of Otto Miller Hall on September 22

DEMONSTRATING ITS continued commitment to the sciences, Seattle Pacific University completed a $5-million renovation of the Miller Science Learning Center this past spring and will formally dedicate the building, renamed Otto M. Miller Hall, on September 22.

Miller Hall now features dedicated research labs, state-of-the-art classrooms and 21st-century technology for the disciplines of physics, electrical engineering, mathematics and computer science. Dedicated last fall, the new Science Building two blocks away houses biology, chemistry, biochemistry and psychology.

Festivities begin at noon and include a President’s Picnic/Street Fair (on Third Avenue West, between Miller Hall and Brougham Pavilion) with live jazz and a selection of cuisine from various food booths. The dedication ceremony will start at 1 p.m., followed by dessert and guided tours of the building. For more information, call 206/281-2100.
