Meet Alex at Casey Weekend This Summer

Alex Thomason ’00 — former contestant on “The Apprentice” — will speak at the 2005 Casey Weekend, August 19–21. The theme for the event is “God’s Apprentice: You’re Hired!”

Open to Seattle Pacific Univer-sity alumni, families, and friends, Casey Weekend takes place at SPU’s seaside retreat, Camp Casey on Whidbey Island. In addition to hiking, beachcombing, swimming, and the popular salmon barbecue, participants enjoy a discussion of contemporary issues from a Christian worldview. This year, Thomason joins Seattle Pacific faculty members Susan Van Zanten Gallagher, Eric Vogt, and Jeff Keuss to explore what it means to serve as God’s apprentice in today’s culture.
