Academic Excellence

As a Seattle Pacific student, you will choose from 69 majors and 55 minors taught by expert faculty, not teaching assistants. Our small class sizes mean your professors will know you by name and care about your well-being. By teaching through the lens of Christian faith, they integrate faith and learning in ways that will challenge and nourish you.

Kayaking and hiking in Seattle

Seattle and the Pacific Northwest

Seattle is a city exploding with growth in technology and industry. We are home to the fastest space race, the largest online retailer, and the biggest charitable foundation.

In the middle of that mix, Seattle Pacific is empowering tomorrow’s leaders. Biology professors work with students to research unique life found in the Northwest. Business professors invite top business leaders as guest speakers in their classes. Theology classes visit a wide variety of local churches and service organizations.

When you’re not in class? The city is surrounded by water and mountains, making bridges, ferryboats, and snow-capped peaks part of everyday life. As a student, you can join other students who also love the outdoors. The Outdoor Recreation Program offers everything from climbing trips, discounted tickets to a popular local ski area, and camping weekends.

International students are an important part of Seattle Pacific University. Our active international population represents about 52 countries, and resources and academic support is always available to you through International Student Services.
