* A total of 21 elective credits in mathematics courses are required for the BS in Mathematics, MAT 4363 Mathematical Statistics and MAT 4830 Mathematical Modeling are strongly recommended. Fifteen credits in related approved courses in which mathematics is applied such as physics, economics, computer science, etc, are also required. Students should seek advisor approval for their elective courses.
