This seminar introduces students to the historical development of Latin America, the variety of analytical perspectives from which Latin American reality is explained, the character, past and present, of U.S. policy in the region, and the nature and impact of the economic crisis in the region. |

This course introduces students to several perspectives on faith and practice in the context of Latin America, considers the historical development and current character of the church in Latin America, helps students gain an understanding of approaches to Third World development and enables students to reflect biblically on these topics. |
