ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCE – BIO-ENGINEERING MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 120 total and 27-50 upper-division credits are required for the BS in Engineering and Applied Science – Bio-Engineering major.

This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline.

Major	CSC 1230, EGR 1402, MAT 1225	CHM 1211, EGR 1125, MAT 1226	CHM 1212, EGR 1125, MAT 1228
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Foreign Language if required, and as dictated by placement test.			MAT 0121, 0122, 0123, 0124, 0125 (if needed, as dictated by placement test); ENG 2201 (if needed, as dictated by placement test) AHA, AHB, SSA, SSB (Choose one depending on competency courses needed.)

Other			Apply for admission to the major. A 2.5 GPA is required.	Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

Major	BIO 2129, CHM 3225, EGR 3000	BIO 2130, EGR 3800	EGR 2200	Two of the following: EGR 3401, EGR 2891, EGR 3391, EGR 3841 Fifteen credits in Tech Electives (Consult with the EAS coordinator about approved tech elective courses.)
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, SSA, SSB (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other		Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.		Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed

Major	EGR 4940		EE 4899
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, SSA, SSB (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other	Create a final-year plan and meet with your faculty advisor for review.	EGR 4899 may be taken for an additional 1 credit in order to achieve required ‘W’ or upper-division credits.		Electives to reach at least 180 total college-level quarter credits and 60 upper-division credits if needed
