MUSIC MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

Total credits will vary depending upon emphasis but 23 upper-division credits are required for the BA in MUSIC major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Major	MUS 1101, Music ensemble (2 credits), Individual Instruction (1-2 credits)	MUS 1102, Music ensemble (2 credits), Individual Instruction (1-2 credits)	MUS 1103, Music ensemble (2 credits), Individual Instruction (1-2 credits)	Meet with a faculty advisor in the Music department to select an area of emphasis and continue long-term planning

* Students who transfer to SPU with junior standing should review the freshman and sophomore year sequence and make certain they complete these requirements as soon as possible.
