EUROPEAN STUDIES - LINGUISTICS MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 59 total and 25 upper-division credits are required for the BA in European Studies - Linguistics major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Foreign Language if required			Complete Writing Skills and Math Skills Competency requirements, as dictated by placement tests SSA, SSB, NSA, NSB, MAT (Choose one to four depending on competency courses needed)
Other	Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed

Major				CLA 3170, EUR 3100, LIN 4145

Other	Apply for admission to the major. A 2.0 GPA is required, in addition to a 2.5 GPA in 10 credits of coursework at SPU in foreign languages or European Studies. Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed
