PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 62 total and 36 upper-division credits are required for the BA in Psychology major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Foreign Language Competency, if required			Complete Writing Skills and Math Skills Competency requirements, as dictated by placement tests AHA, AHB, AHC, SSB, NSA, NSB (Choose two or three depending on competency courses needed)
Other	Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed; Apply for major upon successful completion of PSY 1180

Major				Choose one of the following: PSY 2470, 3460; Choose one of the following: PSY 3442, 4460; PSY 2360

Major				PSY 4100 OR PSY 4101, PSY 4688, PSY 4899; PSY 4940 OR PSY 4970; 5 credits in a PSY upper-division elective

Other	Create a final-year plan and meet with your faculty advisor for review. Electives to reach at least 180 total college-level quarter credits and 60 upper-division credits if needed
