EDUCATIONAL MINISTRY MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 59 total and 46 upper-division credits are required for the BA in Educational Ministry major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Complete elementaryforeign language,if requirement was not fulfilled in high school. Unless you are exempt, take the Math Placement Test at least three academic quarters before you intend to take your Exploratory Curriculum math class. Complete ENG 2201, if required.			AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, SSB, NSA, NSB, MAT (Choose three to five depending on competency courses needed);
Other				Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed

Other	Apply for admission to the major.			Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

Major				Select two of the following (for 5 cr): THEO 3301, 3302, 3303, 3331; THEO 3710, THEO 3730; Select one upper division Christian doctrine or Christian ethics course; Select two upper division Scripture courses (can be done once UFDN 2000 is complete)
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, SSB, NSA, NSB, MAT (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other	Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.			Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed

Other	Create a final-year plan and meet with your faculty advisor for review.			Electives to reach at least 180 total college-level quarter credits and 60 upper-division credits if needed
