SOCIOLOGY MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 53 total and 25 upper-division credits are required for the BA in Sociology major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Begin or resume elementary foreign language, if competency requirement is not complete.

Unless you are exempt, take the Math Placement Test at least three academic quarters before you intend to take your Statistics class.

Complete ENG 2201, if required.

AHA, AHB, AHC, SSB, NSA, NSB (Choose two to five depending on competency courses needed)
Other       Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed
