BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 95 total and 60 upper-division credits are required for the BA in Business Administration major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Common Curriculum	USEM 1000	UCOR 1000 OR UFDN 1000	UCOR 1000 OR UFDN 1000
Major				ECN 2101 ECN 2102 BUS 2414, CSC 1123 OR demonstration of competency by certification or exam equivalent to this course.
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Complete elementaryforeign language,if requirement was not fulfilled in high school. Unless you are exempt, take the Math Placement Test at least three academic quarters before you intend to take Statistics. . Complete ENG 2201, if required			AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, NSA, NSB (choose one to three depending on competency courses needed)
Other				Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed

Major				ACCT 2361, ACCT 2362, BUS 2600 MAT 2700 OR MAT 1360 BUS 2910 BUS 3250,
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, NSA, NSB (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other	Apply for admission to the major by January 20. A 2.7 GPA is required.			Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

YEAR 3	Autumn	Winter	Spring	Any Quarter
Common Curriculum				UCOR 3000 UFDN 3100
Major				BUS 3614, BUS 3541, BUS 3700, BUS 4644, 18 credits of electives in Business
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, NSA, NSB (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other	Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.			Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed

YEAR 4	Autumn	Winter	Spring	Any Quarter
Common Curriculum				UCOR 3000 UFDN 3100
Major				BUS 3620, BUS 3828, BUS 4942, BUS 4690, BUS 4899 18 credits of electives in Business or 15 credits in a concentration and 3 additional upper-division electives.
Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)				AHA, AHB, AHC, SSA, NSA, NSB (whichever categories remain unfulfilled)
Other	Create a final-year plan and meet with your faculty advisor for review.			Electives to reach at least 180 total college-level quarter credits and 60 upper-division credits if needed
