CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY MAJOR
Suggested Course Sequence: A Four-Year Plan

At least 55 total and 40 upper-division credits are required for the BA in CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY major. This course sequence is meant to be used as a guideline. Consult with your faculty advisor or academic counselor about modifying this plan to meet your needs, and to reflect any coursework you have already completed prior to enrolling at SPU.

Competencies Exploratory Curriculum (EC)	Complete elementaryforeign language,if requirement was not fulfilled in high school. Unless you are exempt, take the Math Placement Test at least three academic quarters before you intend to take your Exploratory Curriculum math class. Complete ENG 2201, if required.			AHA, AHC, SSA, SSB, NSA, NSB, MAT (Choose two or three depending on competency courses needed.)
Other				Electives to reach at least 45 credits if needed

Major				Christian Ethics Category (5 credits): PHI 1002 or THEO 3501 or THEO 3510 Christian Scriptures A Category (5 credits): THEO 3110 or THEO 3120 or THEO 3130 or THEO 3140 Christian Heritage Category (10 credits): THEO 3301, THEO 3302, THEO 3303 or THEO 3331

Other	Apply for admission to the major once you have earned at least a B- in a University Foundation class.			Electives to reach at least 90 credits if needed

Major				THEO 3401 Christian Ministry Category (8 credits): THEO 2710 or THEO 3710 AND choose one from the following: THEO 3601 or THEO 3640 or THEO 4610 Christian Scriptures B Category (5 credits): THEO 3210 or THEO 3220 or THEO 3230 or THEO 3240

Other	Apply to graduate once 105 credits and admission to major have been earned.			Electives to reach at least 135 credits if needed
