Join SPU in Reading Let Justice Roll Down
This issue of Response marks the 10th anniversary of the magazine’s annual readers’ book feature. Since 1998, Response has invited readers to join with Seattle Pacific University students in reading a text from the Common Curriculum or from the University Scholars (honors) Curriculum.
This year, we have chosen to do something a bit different in keeping with the issue’s focus on “reconciliation” — and in honor of SPU’s partnership with John Perkins. Our featured book is Perkins’ autobiography, Let Justice Roll Down.
Response is offering a limited number of free copies of the 2006 edition of Let Justice Roll Down to those who want to read Perkins’ story firsthand. To request a copy of the book, call
206-281-2051 or email response@spu.edu. You can also find the book in many bookstores, or order it online from amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com.
The SPU Office of Alumni and Parent Relations will be organizing discussion groups to talk about Let Justice Roll Down in 2009. For more information, call 206-281-2586 or email alumni@spu.edu.
