Faculty Concert: The Danny Helseth Project: A new Approach to Euphonium Chamber Music
The Danny Helseth Project presents an evening of chamber music featuring groove-oriented music. A break from traditional chamber music styles and ensembles, this program will feature works from the recently released album The Danny Helseth Project: Thoughts from the Groove as well as new works, including a world premiere composition by SPU's Stephen Michael Newby.

Faculty Concert: Chamber Music From the Baltics and Scandinavia
In light of the 100th anniversary of independence for Finland and three Baltic states, SPU faculty Dainius Vaicekonis, Brad Hawkins, and Ilkka Talvi will present a concert of piano trio works of Baltic and Scandinavian composers.

Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert
The SPU Wind Ensemble, under the baton of Danny Helseth, continues their exploration of music by women composers in their final concert of the year. Come help the Wind Ensemble usher in spring as we celebrate the culmination of a year’s study in modern compositions for band.

The SPU Spring Jazz ensemble concert features music from throughout the history of jazz, from swing to cool jazz to fusion. Join Dan Kramlich, the Jazz Lab, and the Jazz Ensemble as they explore some of America’s original music from the 20th century.

Symphony Orchestra Concert
The SPU Symphony Orchestra’s spring concert, under the direction of Julia Tai, features Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Flos Campi with violist Amber Archibald-Sesek and combined choirs. Exploring styles from Mozart to Brahms, this SPU Symphony Orchestra concert is an evening of music not to be missed.
