She considers herself an avid traveler, a hobby facilitated by living in Scotland and Australia. Most recently, Dr. Christian visited Iceland where she had the opportunity to view a spectacular display of the Northern Lights.

Dr. Christian has had the opportunity to be a part of vibrant church communities all over the world. She has joined mission teams in Kenya and Mexico.
