Rick Jackson teaches courses in media writing, editing, mass media, law and ethics. He also advises SPU’s award-winning student newspaper, The Falcon. Before joining the faculty at SPU, he worked in daily newspapers as a copy editor and reporter. Jackson is researching the history of journalistic writing and how journalists seek to affirm their cultural authority through the construction of their stories.
