  • A graduate application.
  • A $50 application fee. Checks are to be made payable to Seattle Pacific University.
  • An official transcript from each college/university where a degree was obtained, a professional certification program was completed, or where any graduate coursework was taken. These must be official transcripts and remain sealed in the original envelopes. Transcripts may be mailed directly to Seattle Pacific University (see address below).
  • A copy of your most current teaching certificate. If you are non-certified, please contact SPU to determine the possibility of entering this program. These letters should provide a current assessment of your personal qualifications relative to past/future service in the professional environment and capability for graduate study. Recommendations should come from present principals, supervisors, former professors, pastors, or colleagues.
  • Scores from either the Miller's Analogies Test (MAT) or the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). International students must also submit their Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. Official results must be sent directly to Seattle Pacific University. Test scores must be less than five (5) years old to be valid. Seattle area residents may schedule the MAT or GRE by contacting the Testing Center at the University of Washington at (206)543-1170. Please allow two to three months for results to arrive. Check out the GRE web site at www.gre.org
