Software and Technical Requirements
The online
Master's in Education degree is offered via the Internet utilizing
progressive technology to enhance course delivery, instruction and
your learning. Therefore, it is recommended that all students entering
the online program have consistent access to both hardware and software
capable of supporting their learning. By ensuring that your computer
setup meets the following recommendations, you will have a more
successful and enjoyable learning experience.
Due to the
rapid changes in technology, we recommend that if you are considering
just upgrading your computer system, you weigh the costs and benefits
of purchasing a new system. If you have any questions as to the

- 2GB RAM for Windows XP or 4GB RAM for Windows Vista/Windows 7
- 256MB Video Card that’s DirectX10 compatible

- Internet service provider with web and email access
Macintosh Recommended Hardware
- 1.67 gHz G4
- 512 MB RAM recommended
- Millions of colors (24/32 Bit) at 1024 x 768 resolution
