Order Transcript

An official transcript is a complete record of the courses and grades earned by a student at the University.

  • Below college level work (0001-0999 courses)
  • Undergraduate work (1000–4999 courses)
  • Professional advancement courses (5000–5999), sometimes used towards master's degrees
  • Graduate work (6000–7999)
  • Continuing education units (CEU, or non-degree work)

Undergraduate, graduate (master's and doctoral levels), below college, and CEUs are segregated on separate pages of the SPU transcript.

Official transcripts can be issued either in printed form on security paper with the seal of the University or in electronic form, both provided by the National Student Clearinghouse using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Students are responsible to ensure that all the desired grades and degrees are reflected on the transcript before the order is placed. Please check your unofficial transcript in the Banner Information System.

All current and former students, including teachers or professionals who have taken credit or clock hours through SPU's Continuing Professional Education program, have access to Banner.

If you don't know your SPU credentials, you can recover your credentials here: Find My ID

If you are having difficulty recovering your credentials, you may not have a current email on file. Please email us at sasinfo@spu.edu, or call us at (206) 281-2032 with your current contact information.

Unofficial transcripts are free and do not contain the seal of the University, thus they may not be acceptable to most institutions.

You can view your grades/access your unofficial transcript by logging into the Banner Information System.

  • Click on the "Student Menu"
  • Click on the "Academic Records Menu"
  • Click on "Unofficial Transcript"
  • Keep Transcript Level at "All Levels" and Transcript Type at "Web Transcript"
