Why I work at SPU

“Community, small size, the green, the team”

The best career advice I have ever received, heard, or given

“Life is no final draft: Keep revising your life to create your reality.”

What motivates me

“Find joy and beauty in the small things. A kiss from my dog Woobao, a smell I love, a genuine smile from a stranger…”

Three of my favorite hobbies

“Badminton, writing/reading in coffee shops, traveling.”

The last book I've read for fun

“The Ride of A Lifetime by Robert Iger”

How I have "designed a meaningful life and career" for myself

“I think life is about finding the intersection of what you really love with what you really good at. This is a journey at your own speed. I didn’t start with a job I was deeply engaged or energized. I’ve changed majors twice, worked in different countries with entirely different industries. Those detours in my life helped me figured out which direction to head in next. Without those detours, I might not have identified a meaning career that gives me a deep sense of fulfillment: To help others find their uniqueness and build a life – at any age – in which they thrive.”
