Skip Li ’66 honored with 2026 Frank Haas Integrity in Business Award

Seattle Pacific University’s Center for Faithful Business honored SPU alumnus Chi-Dooh “Skip” Li ’66 with the 2026 Frank Haas Integrity in Business Award on March 5. Li is a founding partner of the Seattle law firm Ellis, Li, McKinstry PLLC and the founder of Agros International. The award recognizes business leaders who integrate Christian faith with professional life in ways that contribute to the flourishing of communities. The evening included tributes from Ellis, Li & McKinstry’s Daniel Ichinaga ’80, Kristi Drake ’83 of LePanier Very French Bakery, and Associate Professor of Economics Geri Mason.

Li founded Ellis, Li, McKinstry in 1977 with a vision of building a law firm dedicated not only to excellent legal work but also to serving clients, colleagues, and the city of Seattle with integrity. In 1984 he founded Agros International after helping rebuild a Guatemalan village following the country’s civil war. Since then, Agros has helped more than 26,000 people in Central America access land, opportunity, and hope.

He is also a founder of Vision 16, an intentional Christian living community near the University of Washington that encourages students to love God and their neighbors through shared life and mentorship.

The Frank Haas Integrity in Business Award, named for the founder of Leisure Communities Ltd. and an early champion of SPU’s Center for Faithful Business, honors leaders whose lives demonstrate the integration of faith and work.
