Explores the theoretical bases and treatment approaches falling under the broader category of couple and family systems psychology, including the following evidence based treatment models: cognitive behavioral, emotion focused, functional family therapy, and multidimensional family therapy. The course will highlight psychodynamic theory and psychodynamic family therapy.
