Placement Tests

Student in classroom

Seattle Pacific University undergraduate students are required to meet a Foreign Language Requirement to earn a bachelor’s degree from SPU.

If you have not completed three years of study of the same foreign language in high school with a grade of C or better in your final year, you should take a placement test to determine the level for which you should register.

What foreign language placement tests are offered?

  • French
  • Latin
  • Russian
  • Spanish
