Financial Aid: Grants & Scholarships

Grants and scholarships are funds that you do not need to repay. SPU awards Federal Grants, State Grants, and Institutional Grants, as well as a number of institutional scholarships. Seattle Pacific also administers outside scholarships, such as ROTC awards or church scholarships, specific donor awards for SPU students, and scholarship news and searches. In order to qualify for grants and the most funding possible you must complete the financial aid application process and a FAFSA.

If you indicated on your FAFSA that you will be receiving Veterans' Education Benefits, those funds are reported on your Offer of Financial Assistance. We are required by federal regulation to include these benefits as part of your financial resources for the academic year.

All grants will be applied directly to your student account. Washington State Grants require your authorization on the Washington State Student Directive to allow payment directly on your account.
