First-Year Student Scholarships

You’re looking for scholarships. We make applying for them easy!

Just send in your admission application, and, unless otherwise noted with an asterisk (*), you can receive multiple scholarships. (Are you looking for Transfer Scholarships?)

Note: Scholarship amounts and award guidelines are subject to change at the University’s discretion, and they may be adjusted based on the competitiveness of the applicant pool.

*The guidelines shown for the awards noted with an asterisk reflect criteria we take into account to offer the award. A student may receive no more than one of these asterisk awards during the same academic year. If the GPA is weighted on the official transcript, SPU will calculate an unweighted GPA. SAT scores based on Critical Reading and Math sections. Final decision will come from Undergraduate Admissions.

Please note that scholarship qualifications below are based upon the pre-March 17, 2016, SAT scoring format (Critical Reading + Math). If you have taken the new SAT, please refer to the College Board's concordance resource (link opens as PDF).
