Visit Scholarship

The visit scholarship deadline has passed for first year students starting Fall 2021.

Transfer students can still attend two qualifying virtual visits or one in-person tour through the Admissions office before August 1 (extended deadline) to earn for a $500 Visit Scholarship for Autumn Quarter 2021!

Post-baccalaureate students are not eligible for the visit scholarship.

Students on campus

Visit scholarships will be automatically awarded to transfer students who meet the following conditions:

  1. Are admitted to SPU (even if they’re admitted after their visit date)
  2. Have attended two qualifying official, Admissions-sponsored, virtual visits or one in-person campus tour between Sept 1–July 1 (August 1 for transfer students) of the year prior to enrollment. Only one phone or video call with an admissions counselor can count toward the scholarship. 
  3. Enroll full-time at Seattle Pacific for Autumn Quarter 2021.

This $500 scholarship is non-renewable (one year only), and is dispersed over the Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters of a student’s first year at SPU.

The following do not count towards a Visit Scholarship:

*Students must register for two official virtual visit events or one in-person campus tour. Only one one-on-one phone or video call with an admisisons counselor can count toward the scholarship. Your visit must be marked as attended by an admissions staff member. The Visit Scholarship is automatically awarded based on the “attended” status, and students will receive an alert from Student Financial Services when their financial aid package is updated.
