This course teaches the fundamental elements of recording, designing, and editing sound for film/video. Students learn the basics of on-set audio recording, sound editing, and multi-track sound design specifically for the moving image. Topics covered include microphone techniques, mixing a multitrack session in Pro Tools, field and studio recording, and Foley techniques.
