Alumni, Parent, and Family Relations

Amanda Stubbert

Amanda Heath Stubbert graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1995 with a double major in theatre and psychology. Already liking what she saw here, Amanda began working for SPU right after graduation, directing the University Players touring group, booking gigs for them and other SPU groups performing off campus.

In 2013, the native of Aloha, Oregon, became assistant director of campus experience and events for Undergraduate Admissions, where she expanded the visit program and created an inspiring encounter with SPU for all prospective students and their families. In 2015, she became assistant director of alumni and parent relations, and then after a brief stint as the interim director of that department, she was named the director of alumni and parent relations in early 2018.

“Sharing the inspiring stories of our how our alumni are changing the world is my favorite part of the job,” says Stubbert. “Our team is committed to creating new and innovative ways for our community to connect with each other and the university.”

Amanda and her husband Corbett Stubbert ’97, executive pastor and operations manager at Seattle’s Westside Church, spend their free time as a volunteers and board members with WorldCOMP Kenya, an organization which serves in many ways from facilitating medical teams to schools for children living in slums. They have two daughters, Hannah and Eden.
