1. Set Up Your SPU Email Account

You've submitted your $200 advance payment, and now you're officially a Falcon. Congratulations! We can't wait to welcome you to campus this autumn.
Here are your next steps, including important deadlines for housing and to make sure you get full access to financial aid.
After you have your computer credentials, log in at spu.edu/webmail. Check it often for updates!

2. Apply for Financial Aid
Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after October 1 as possible. March 15 is the priority deadline. Have the results sent to Seattle Pacific University (SPU’s school code for FAFSA is 003788). Financial aid award packets will begin being mailed in March.

3. Sign up for
Watch your mailbox and SPU email account for more information about new student advising, where you’ll register for classes and learn important information for the next part of SPU journey.

4. Sign Up for Housing by June 1
The housing application will be available in April. Find more information on housing requirements, how to apply, and application deadlines at spu.edu/housing.

5. Sign up for
Right before classes begin, you will take part in a required event called Orientation. Parents and guests are invited to attend the first two days. Watch your mail and SPU email for more information in the late spring.

6. Send Official Academic Transcripts by August 1
High school students: We need your final academic transcript with a posted graduation date by August 1. (Your financial aid will be affected if we don’t have this.) Transfer students: Please submit your college transcripts. If you are transferring any college credits, please also submit your college transcripts.

7. Return a Medical History Form and Immunization Record
You will need to send us this information by September 1. Please download the forms on the Health Center website and mail or fax to:

8. Update Your Emergency Contacts
After you’ve made your advanced payment, you’re probably logged into Banner (SPU’s online location to check your grades and transcripts, and to enroll in classes). While you're there, update your emergency contacts, which are found under the Personal menu.
