Student
Experience

Maybe you like Ultimate Frisbee on Saturdays and accounting homework on Mondays. Maybe you love the arts and hope to hit every concert venue in Seattle.

Whatever you want to do, and whatever you like to do, you’ll find your place and your people at Seattle Pacific. To us, community is all about learning and connecting with others who want to engage the culture and change the world.

You’ll experience the life-changing relationships and support only possible in a small, close-knit setting like SPU. Your professors might host a pizza party to discuss the big ideas presented in a theology class, and you may join the residence halls as they rally together in support of Falcon sports.

SPU is also home to many programs — in addition to academic resources — devoted to the health, learning, and support of students on campus, including the John Perkins Center for Reconciliation, Leadership Training, and Community Development

Health and safety are a priority on campus, and students can access five different exercise facilities, a drop-in clinic, and free counseling at the Student Counseling Center. Safety and Security staff members are available and on patrol 24 hours a day, and residential buildings are locked at all times.

Associated Students of Seattle Pacific (ASSP) is another vital part of the student resource collective — its elected student leadership works with University administrators on important campus issues every year. ASSP’s Student Union Board (STUB) also plans major events on campus such as the Homecoming Talent Show and SPU’s age-old Christmas party, Tradition.
